Recorded on Jan 5th, in my home studio (Redison Recording), myself, Trevor Caddell and Michael Tebrinke recorded these six tracks as one 38 min improv take. The three of us had never played together so the first track labeled "opening" is our first moment making music together.

For the nerds, we tracked all in a very small room with two sound baffles between the drums and sax to prevent sound bleed and the Bass DI'd straight into mic pre/interface. The base tracks were recorded with a small amount of compression and EQ on the bass and sax tracks. I EQ'd the sax to add some brightness and added a little delay and reverb where applicable. The bass track is doubled and panned out about 15-20% with some chorus added and a little verb where I felt like it needed to be added.

The session was tracked through UA interfaces in Logic Pro and bounced to UA Luna for mixing.

Drums are Sonor SQ2 Heavy Beech 10,12,14,16, 20, 14 snare and Istanbul Cymbals.
